This is an agreement between you, the purchaser, and TypeManufactur. In accepting the terms of this agreement, you acknowledge understanding and promise to comply with its terms. If you do not accept the terms, please do not complete the purchase transaction.
What you are purchasing from TypeManufactur is the license to use digital typeface software – hereafter »fonts« – under a particular set of conditions. These conditions determine, for example, the size of your company or how you intend to use the fonts. You are not purchasing the copyright to the design of the fonts, but the non-exclusive and non-transferable rights to use the fonts. If you believe your usage or need is not addressed, or if you are unsure of the meaning of any term or condition, please ask TypeManufactur before making a purchase.
Desktop fonts are provided in CFF-flavored OpenType (OTF) format. Additional formats may be available upon demand, and may require the purchase of supplemental licensing. When purchasing licensing for desktop fonts, you may use the fonts on all computers within your organisation. You may use the fonts at a single location, under their names and in exactly the shapes and data as they are delivered. You can purchase additional licenses at any time.
Webfonts are provided in WOFF and WOFF2 format. The fonts may not be used with any other web embedding or web font replacement technologies without the purchase of supplemental licensing. Uploading the desktop font data (OTF) to web servers is strictly prohibited, as well as the conversion of it to webfonts. When purchasing licensing for webfonts, you may use the fonts for one specific domain within your organisation.
App fonts are provided in CFF-flavored OpenType (OTF) format. When purchasing licensing for apps the fonts may be embedded in one specific app within your organisation. You may use the app fonts for styling, viewing and editing text in your app built to run natively on mobile operating systems including but not limited to iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile. You and the end user may use the fonts to output static files like PDF, PNG and JPG, provided the end user does not have the ability to edit the fonts in the final format.
eBook fonts are provided in CFF-flavored OpenType (OTF) format. The eBook license allows you to embed the fonts into an epub file, either a pdf, epub, or other similar file. Embedding licensing is for read-only purposes.
Corporate fonts are provided in all available font formats and cover most licensing options provided by TypeManufactur. The corporate license, allows the use of the fonts in unlimited workstations, apps (applications and software), websites and eBooks within your organisation.
You may make archival copies of the fonts for your own purposes. You may not distribute the fonts to people outside of your organisation. You may not modify, convert, adapt, decompile, or otherwise reverse engineer or create derivative works of the fonts.
You may embed the licensed fonts into any document you send to third parties in a secured 'Preview & Print' mode, as long as the document itself is not a commercial product. You may not under any circumstances embed the licensed fonts into software or hardware products in which the fonts will be used by the purchasers of such products. Such use requires the purchase of supplemental licensing.
We have done everything we can to produce our fonts to the highest and most up-to-date technical standards, we test the fonts extensively in the latest versions of technically-compliant applications. If you do experience any difficulties with our fonts, we will work with you to resolve any technical issues in the fonts. If, after we have worked to resolve any technical issues, you are still not satisfied with our software, we will be pleased to refund your money, which shall be the limit of our liability in this transaction.
Our fonts are offered to you on an »as is« basis. You assume the entire risk of the quality and performance of the fonts. You waive both the implied warranty of fitness and the implied warranty against infringement of third-party rights. Our liability to you for costs, damages, or other losses arising from your use of our fonts – including third-party claims against you – is limited to a refund of your license fee.
Your data will only be stored as far as it is necessary to provide you with an invoice. It will not be passed on to a third party. If you have any questions regarding data protection, please contact us at mail@typemanufactur.com
We grant the rights of use of our fonts to you in good faith, and request that you adhere to the terms of this agreement to the best of your ability, and in good faith.
